Im trying to put the same seats i have in the front in the back of my 2014 cm. Does any one have or seen one like that or only option is to remove one half of the bench seat? I want to install a sub box in the back in between the bucket seat i rather not use them pancake subs under the seat... if u have done this or have a pic of it done can u post it or tell me if im able to do this or not thanks.

Just came across the thread but did you ever figure anything out for your build? I have a 2020 crewmax and looking to do the same thing. I previously had a sub box built on the seat but wasn’t loud enough for me so I’m upgrading. I found car-part.com has some used seats you may be able to use which is where I’m buying. The mounting brackets are almost 2 inches different on the 40 rear seat from the original 60 seat so I’m going to fabricate something to extend to the original mounting holes.

Yeah nope never found ne thing out about it on here. I just went and got the same seats and had to make new bracketsfor them the bolt in. Unfortunately toyota dont make the brackets for that. Or maybe u arent supposed to do that. But im a welder so i just made new ones and welded them on the new seats..

U can also just take half of the seat out and build a sub box to fit in where the seat was. And put the amp under the seat. I have seen ppl do that. But other than making new pieces aint much else u can do. Besides put sum 8s under the back seat.. but there aint enough room to put a 15 unless u make room for it sum where...

Gotcha! And yea that behind the seat box isn’t going to do it for me and I’ve already ordered subs and everything so I’m committed. I’m going 2 deaf bonce 3012r on (2) synergy 3ks strapped at 0.5. I’ll keep you posted with the build and I appreciate the response man.
