    Well, I would like to think that I look much younger than I am, but the truth is that I am a 51 year old, graying, white dude with a beer gut. Not real hard to tell that I am way old enough to purchase alcohol.

    I got carded a couple weeks ago. I'm 32, clean shaven and 5'5" though. That said, people generally peg my age alot higher so I was kind of surprised I was carded.

    I do really need to get some more and I am ashamed of myself. In a few months, camping/shooting weather will be here and I am down to about 100 rounds of 9mm, 250 38sp, 100 7.62x54r, 2000 22lr, 100 223, 300 12ga, 150 45, and 700 7.62x39. It's just been too damn expensive lately.

    Yes it was and did. But I still wouldn't discount the aliens.

    It's fortified "wine". I dunno if they still make it, but for the sake of our children and grandchildren, I hope not.

    When I was 15 to 17 me and my friends drank a lot of mad dog. It came in thin bottles like a flask. Really easy to stick a couple in you waist band and cover with your shirt tail.

    On our nation's bicentennial, I drank three bottles. We were watching fireworks at the area's highest summit, Mt. Trashmore. Literally a mound or garbage that was turned into a park. Also the subject of the funniest morning radio prank ever.
    What I remember about it mostly is what my friends told me. They put me on my side and rolled me down the hill. Pulled over and put my head out the door when I was gurgling on rainbow colored puke. Then set me on the front porch and rang the doorbell.
    What I still remember some 45 years later, is my dad waking me up and making me mow the 1.5 acre with a push mower.

    When I met my future wife a few years later, she was really in to wine with meals. I said I don't drink wine. She asked why? I told her. She said I was an idiot.
