Hey all, starting a new build here. We plan to modify a contractor topper to have a pop up roof so with the added weight (and broken leaf needing replacement) I went with a HD leaf spring pack with and extra leaf. So I need to adjust for the extra height the leafs will provide. Planning on 5100's in the rear (adjustable since I don't know the final height yet) but I'm getting confused about what to do up front. I've put a camper on my old tacoma and we had a built out van and both felt top heavy and handled poorly, so I'm hoping to avoid that sway feeling, and since the topper/camper will be on full time it would be nice if she still handled well. We don't do any real off roading but we do venture down some rowdy dirt roads from time to time. Planning on 32" tires soon. Only 75,000 miles on the truck but 15 years of northern winters have taken its toll...lots of por15 action this weekend

So for the front should I use a leveling kit and normal (no lift) strut assembly? just a spacer? or lifted strut assembly? just new shock and use the old springs? my (trusted) mechanic says let's just throw a spacer in, my 4x4/rally car friend says that will ruin the ride (he suggests fox 2.0's)...I may end up choosing the more budget friendly option for now but any advice would be appreciated!
