Are the Limited fenders' the same as the Double Cab fenders'?

I have car-part.com set to search for parts for my 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab by VIN, and a fender is showing up from one salvage yard described as "4 DR,LIMITED,BLACK".

Limited has nothing to do with body shape. It's a trim like SR5 or SR.

@AzureNightmare So does that mean the fenders for the Limited are intechangable with the Double Cabs'?

Sorry. I understand trim levels. Just wanting to make sure the limited trim level of Double Cab fender, will fit an SR5 Double cab.

My point is that Limited has nothing to do with the fenders in anyway. The only way it would tell you is if a certain trim were exclusive to the cab type. It's akin to asking if an SR5 fender will fit a double cab. Well, was the SR5 a double cab or a single cab or an access cab. Trim doesn't affect it in anyway.

Double cab fenders are double cab fenders. As @AzureNightmare said, SR5 and Limited are trims. The main exterior difference between SR5 and Limited is the latter has color matched bumpers and mirrors.

@AzureNightmare Thank you. Please forgive my tiredness, and not wanting to pay for a part, just to find out it won't fit after driving to pick it up

No apology needed. We all have our days.

I'd contact whoever has that part and ask if it came of an access cab or a double cab.

As others mentioned, Limited is a trim. For a time I would get confused when figuring out parts for AC, DC, SR5....etc but became clearer when looking at what was offered in their brochures. While it can still be daunting when searching parts, with a veh VIN, it does become much clearer. If car-part.com does indeed show VIN, I would use that info at McGeorge Toyota for example to then check fender part numbers.

this may or may not help explain....

Sir we don't have an "sr" trim here in first gen paradise. I need you to take your land yacht elsewhere.

Back in my day we called it base model. We didn't need to hide the fact it was base.

What's the point of a land yacht if you can't cruise it into paradise once in a while? o_O

I disagree. The limited-edition anniversary Fender strat is curvy while their double cab 2x12 twin reverb amp is somewhat boxy.

If the fender you're buying is a limited and your truck is a base model, then the fender flare may be different. Some fender flares have mounting holes behind them, which your fender may not. So removing a non matching flare may not be a good option. Thus is true for the AC models, can anyone confirm for the DC?

I believe that only matters for access cab. Double cab I think are all the same.

Well I'll be damned. I've never seen a DC without the flares on. Thats part of why I don't like their style, I might have to change my mind about that.
