You can tow that no issue. Use tow haul and keep it is S drive, either 4th or 5th depending on speed and grade.

You can get a receiver hitch and ball at most auto parts, lowes, homedepot, walmart. Usually uhaul trailers uses 2 inch balls, but check on that. When you make the trailer reservation, the listing will show the ball size for the trailer.

DO: read your wife’s CRV owner manual and follow all of the guidance for towing.

Horror stories abound of towed vehicles being ruined due to improper towing set up.

You’ll be happy with how your Tundra pulls her CRV- just make sure to follow the instructions to the letter and CHECK EVERYTHING TWICE before pulling her vehicle.

I think he's using a U-Haul trailer so this shouldn't be an issue but good looking out! Flat towing can be bad if not done right.

I wouldn’t even call that a horror story, that’s just an idiot story.

Buy a hitch draw bar and ball with the big hole and the big thread shank about 7/8-1" most places also have like a 3/4". If you don't have one get a pipe wrench and cheater pipe to mount the ball good and tight, then apply a little grease on the ball before you hitch up the trailer. Also you might want some stick on blind spot mirrors just to help you see a bit better.
