Got an email a few minutes ago….

“The government has successfully completed the periodic reinvestigation of your security clearance. There is no further action required by you at this time.”

    So it’s over? :bananadance:

Time to now count down my days to happiness. 945 days to go…:ballchain:

    Sounds just awful.
    I hope your weekend improves.

Do you have our yesterday weather? Or our today weather? It was high 80s and near 100% humidity here yesterday and it's sunny and 70 and dry right now.

I'm having a pissing match with a coworker and winning, but I'm really considering a career change. This shit is too much lately. Too many people trying to be cooks in the kitchen, too much administrative shit being asked for, too many fawking meetings to talk about "whats the status of these projects?".

Seriously. I have a 1x1 with my boss on Tuesdays, a meeting with the business I support every other Tuesday, a meeting with tech every other Friday, and a meeting with my executive every Thursday, to discuss what the status is on projects. Best part is, the entire cast from every other meeting is in the weekly executive meeting. So tired of the fucking groundhogs day routines. Give me those 4 hours a week back and watch how the status of every project improves.

I'm watching the HOA hired gardeners outside and feeling jealous. I dabbled in landscaping in my teens and its hard work, but its relaxing too and satisfying. I would much rather be doing that today.

That would be nice in socal. My work is usually pretty chill, but we're down 3 electricians so I'm having to run calls and handle my "big" jobs. I fucking hate service. I don't like dealing with homeowners, and hate residential. I'm fixing display lighting in a museum in a small town here today. Easy Friday finally....

Edit: see the "who's who" page for a shot from the museum.

Same reason I got out of plumbing. I hated being a salesman, I was okay with customers in residential for the most part but some were assholes. I enjoyed doing commercial work usually because there might be cheaper rates but there is no bullshitting. If I could do service strictly on commercial I would go.

A woman has twins, and gives them up for adoption. One goes to a family in Egypt and is named Amal. The other goes to Spain and is named Juan.

Years later, Juan sends a picture of himself to his biological mom. Upon receiving it, she tells her husband that she wished she also had a picture of Amal. Her husband said: "But they are twins. If you've seen Juan, you've seen Amal.

The BMW or the house?
Would be sick if you bought the house. Hes asking 600k and got 2 cash offers above asking already. That house has a 2 story garage, I'm so jealous of that.

My house has a room right above the garage, so the ceiling is low in the garage. His house doesn't have a room above and has a high peak roof, so you pull the stairs down and walk up stairs to the rafters. Its just for storage but its sweet, wish I had it.

These houses don't get too bad on heat. Between the ceramic roof tiles and the heavy insulation it stays pretty cool. I was up in his rafters in June and wasn't bad at all. His floor plan is different too, bigger kitchen and bigger guest bedrooms. He has 200sqft more than me.

Lol, the idea of california dollars comes to mind.

pa was beautiful. In the valleys close to the circle tracks would tempt me greatly into a summer property. Cause f those winters and everything associated.

Wife suggested that. I'm not exactly opposed but wouldn't want to add 100k to my loan for that. Plus I would be starting over on my yard.

My dog prefers his house though. He used to run in there like its his place. Whoever buys that house better love pugs because he's gonna be there visiting.
