Found my truck on Carvana

As I posted before, I sold my 2021 SR5 DC to Carvana for $44,100, I paid $39,800. It finally listed on Carvana for $47,590. This gives you an idea of the crazy used car market now. Two dealers only offered me $39,000. The really crazy thing is they posted a link to the window sticker with the MSRP when new of $41,080!

market is effed up right now. Up is down, round is square and front is back…

 

6 passenger seating?

 

It was the SR5 upgrade with the center console so only 5 person seating.

Yeah I saw the pics that was just one of the options they listed so I had to do a double take.

 

Carvana offered me $53k for mine right before 3 separate wholesalers offered me $61k. Crazy times right now.

Carvana did by my 2019 4Runner for $4k more than I paid for it and that was before the COVID craziness really popped off.

 

Update! Carvana lowered the price of my old truck by $600. I’ll be curious to see what they actually sell it for.

 

I think the used/new car market will be like that well into 2022. Better hold on to what you have currently.

 

They bought my 2013 for 17,740 and listed it for 21,900. It ended up at a used car lot in NC and they listed and sold it for 19,900. I wonder if they bought it from Carvana and had to lower the price after a while to be able to sell it. It had the 4.6. I found the truck by searching the VIN on Google.

 

Crazy times! I was getting my truck serviced when I saw this at the dealership’s used car area. I bought my 2019 TRD Sport 4WD for $43K out the door and this used 2018 2WD with 21K miles for $55K. Glad not to be in the market.

 

$400 for wheel locks would have gotten them the 1st "hell no".
