Looking for new tires for my wife's tundra, we want something that can add off road performance but not kill on the road driving. Not going to be rock crawling ever, just good all around overland tire.

Any good video's or websites that break down what to look for in a tire? Any recommendations far as brands?

Been searching this forum and just too much information when I have no clue what I am looking at.

I think there are some other top brands I see people like but I see a lot of these. Still running stock tires on the Tundra, only 19k and waiting to wear them out. Running Nitto Terra grapplers on the Tacoma and I really like them for my needs, heard they underperform in ice / snow but don't see much of that in central TX any so wasn't worried about that

A tradeoff will be involved..having your cake and eat it too and all that. Decide what is priority and go from there.

You’ll need to decide if you’re going to stick with a P-rated tire or step up to a LT-rated tire. Once you decide that you’ll know what you’re looking for. Sounds like you’d want to stay P-rated since on-road comfort is still #1 priority? The LT will be much tougher but will also provide a stiffer ride, especially load E or higher.

to put it in simple terms, every major truck tire manufacturer offers an "all-terrain tire". this is what you're after and past this its more or less picking your favorite flavor.
