    Local news says FL doesn't get cicadas...looks like one to me. I may send it to the local news station lol.

    They are out pretty much every year here. Noisy, and they leave their discarded shells sticking to trees and walls.

    We had a new batch of baby doves just come out of the nest this week. This is the 3rd hatching so far this year out of the same nest. I assume same parents. This is one of the little ones and the parent. I couldn't find the other one, I assume it was still in the nest.

    Cicada. Very common in Texas and Louisiana. Seeing one in Florida does not seem like a stretch.
