Was looking into LP6s vs Flex Era 4s, was seeing what people thought and could recommend one over the other? Been a lifetime KC fan but Baja Designs have definitely been looking good. Looking at KC roof rack with the gravity pros vs roof rack with LP6s as well.

Well… I guess I’ll start here. Both make great products for sure.

You’re taking about roof mounted lights. What do you plan on mounting them to, and what goal do you hope to achieve with them? High speed, wall of light for the highway, slow speeds?

No experience with the modern offerings from KC (old school bulb fogs are what I remember) but I have lots of experience with BD and Rigid. I’m a HUGE fan of BD and have had their lights on numerious trucks and SUV’s. I like their build quality styling and most importantly their light color and output for size. Discount code BDFORUMS will also get ya 10% off as well. You can’t go wrong with BD!

C4 Overland bumper, BD SAE fogs, Leitner Designs Rack, Rago Bed Channel Stiffiners, Warn Xeon 12S Plarinum, Bedslide, Front Runner Roof Rack, roof rack solar panels, RCI Full under carriage aluminum studs, RCI rear diff skid, Rago dash plate, Rago accessory panels, OEM LED headlights with wiring harness.
Bought a pair of KC Pro 6 Gravity lights for the bumper bar because they were street legal and have a set of Baja Designs Squadron Pros for ditch lights, and another set to replace the stock Tundra fogs. If I were to do it again, I would have went with the Baja LP series lights for the bumper. Both are great offerings, just have to match the product with your activity.

Looks like you got some nice feedback here. Please let me know if you have specific questions and I would be happy to help you out.

Check out our Science of Lighting page and especially our Lighting Zone videos if you need info on what separates BD, and how to properly build a lighting package.
