Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the development I have been working on lately.
I have designed and built a trans brake system for the Tundra and have tested it at the last trip to the track when I ran a 10.8 second 1/4 mile with a 2.6 second 0-60.
It is completely electrical and does not require any mechanical modifications to the transmission.
Those of you with high power trucks know that you cannot fully load the drive line by flooring the throttle while on the brakes because the engine overpowers the brakes and the truck creeps forward.
The trans brake setup allows you to go wide open throttle while sitting at the lights and then launch at full power when you are ready.
I have one more improvement to make to the system and will be posting the video of it in action in September when I come back from Victor Island.
    Cheers!
