    I grew up old school where you show off your engine not cover it up with a stupid plastic teenage ninja turtle shield. I’ve always hated that part of my 5.7

    Technically any liquid is drinkable if your brave enough.

    My in-laws cat got giardia drinking from the dehumidifier.

    This thread seems to have derailed at this point anyway, but I will say some people do like to reroute this hose just because it's so easy to do. I've seen threads on here before about it but don't have a link. Just put a bigger hose over the one that's there and run it somewhere else. It's on my to do list.

    @DarkMint I saw a guy talking about exactly this issue on GXOR FB page the other day, looks like he just attached a small diameter tube to direct water out and away from the frame to prevent some corrosion.
