With things color matched and debadged, keeps everything super sleek. As mentioned above, makes everything easy to wax and keep clean.

lol I thought about mentioning the ease of cleaning factor…then I thought, I never wash my truck, so that has nothing to do with it for me

None at the moment, just purchased the truck.
I've been wanting to debadge mine, just haven't had anytime to work on the truck with a newborn. I debadge everything I own lol.

Serious question..if you don't like badges...why the TRD Pro lettering? Seems inconsistent. And yeah, material does accumulate around the edges of that lettering.

It’s okay because in, like, 14 years they can help you on your truck!

Kids are truly the best blessing ever! Congrats!!! They are like a little mirror. There is nothing more humbling than seeing yourself (good and bad) in our little ones.

For me the Pro badging adheres flush to the body which makes it easier to clean around it while the TUNDRA is almost an inch thick with the double sticky foam tape being recessed it catches all the road grime and water. The water and grime eventually breaks down the adhesive and creates water pockets between the tape and paint. As far as the 5.7 badge I don’t like the way it looks and the tape does the same thing as the TUNDRA badge.

Exactly what I was talking about. Had one truck that the bottom part of the letters were no longer sticking on the TUNDRA.

At least with the Tundra you kinda sorta maybe have an excuse because it’s a larger vehicle. But when a damn Honda Civic SI does it…

Yeah I've gotten that a few times. It's a TRD PRO grille but it's aftermarket so the entire emblem is one piece. Trying to get it blacked out before installing.

    Question.

I'm looking to debadge my Tundra since the chrome badges go against the white/black theme. The truck has been sitting out in the driveway all day and it's hot outside (91 degrees, real feel is 104). Is a heat gun necessary?
