I have a 2003 Toyota Tundra v8. The truck drives fine. However when i got to turn the truck off, it does not turn off even after the position in in off and the key is out of the truck. Anybody experiencing any issues like this and what should I do. We thought I’d was a faulty ignition switch and windshield switch… replacing neither one of those switches fixed the problem.

Sounds like you have a relay sticking. @BubbaW should be along shortly with a wiring diagram so we can start diagnosing.

I would consider visiting ignition switch area and even below. I would then start bopping, shaking, wiggling the wire harness in and around ignition, even around kick panel, anywhere of fact.

Have you recently installed an alarm sustem, Viper as an example. Haven’t seen nor can I find in a search here where this problem has occured recently, ones found and on net dealt with either alarm system, remote start or harness short somewhere

We'll need the exact engine you have to make any use of that schematics I posted above, I'm guessing the 2uz-fe. From what I can tell in the diagram (pg 76-83), if you've already replaced the ignition switch, it's probably the ECM. First thing I'd do though, is remove the covers to all your fuse/relay boxes. Start the car and get it to where it won't shut off like you describe, then take a screwdriver and lightly smack each relay a few times with the handle, see if anything happens. Don't forget to check the voltage on your alt/battery, a low volt situation can cause havok in a vehicle.
