I have a 2019 Tundra SR5 and just realized my back up camera is really dull and fuzzy looking. My wife just purchased a Highlander and hers looks like HD. Is that normal for the Tundra backup cameras or do I have an issue with it? I never noticed it looked that way until seeing hers.

Have you cleaned the camera on the tailgate? They do need wiped off occasionally.

Wouldn’t consider mine dull and fuzzy, but it’s definitely not as clear as my wife’s Lexus.

    Too many, but not enough....
I notice a pretty big difference before and after offroading and in between washes. I would just wipe it off if you havent.

My 2014 is pretty low D too. The screen just isn't that great-washed out look.

Check the build link in my signature.
Dunno - mine beats the shit out of the one that was in my 2008 with the little 2” flip down screen in the overhead console.

It looks exactly the same as the camera that was in the ‘21 Highlander i rented this spring - all the way down to the little odd jagged spot in the one guidance line.
