I need to find an Auxilary Catch Release Lever Assembly for my 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab.

    I noticed Toyota discontinued them.

All I have is the latch and rod hanging.

I saw a post on here. Someone had bought one that goes to a Lexus, that they bought off eBay. Said it was the perfect replacement. But I don't know if it would bolt to my grille since I have the sr5 Double cab. https://www.tundras.com/threads/auxiliary-hood-latch-on-01-tundra.43917/

@BubbaW Thanks for the help. It's the part that connects to that rod. Shows as disconitinued at Mcgeorge, toyotapartsdeal.com, and an Idaho Toyota dealer who said it was discontinued probably because there wasn't enough demand for it.

The part I was looking for, that has been discontinued is part# 53540-0CO20.

Luckily I found the part for $10, at the salvage yard where I bought the grille.

Good to hear. We have a Raceway pik-a-part close by, $2 to get in and veryyyy reasonable on the things I throw on counter !

I wish we had a pik-a-part here. I have only been able to go into one salvage yard to look for a part years ago, but they pulled it. Maybe because of insurance/liability reasons.
