While changing my own oil I noticed the right clamp that holds the rubber damper on the TRD front sway bar was missing. I don’t know if someone removed it or or stripped off? The driver side was solid so I couldn’t imagine the left side stripped. The hole felt like the threading was fine. Any ideas anyone?

I’ll call the dealership to order replacement front sway bar clamp (is this what it’s called?) and the bolts. If it is stripped should I be concerned driving it as is? I don’t know when it went missing but it drives fine. Might be a good idea to have a monthly walk around if everything is in order.

By the way, I installed the front sway bar over 30k miles ago. Rear TRD Sway bars I installed are solid as well.

Park outside? Maybe a thief got started. Happened to me once with rims. Lug bolts were way loose and I took to the damn interstate not even knowing for a few minutes. Could have been a disaster.

Yes I park outside. Even more reason to do a monthly walk around and under.

Glad to hear you were safe.
