T-Slot Nuts

Hey all,

I'm trying to look for some security hex bolts for my t-slot nuts. I'm assuming it's 3/8x16mm after taking a look at some t-slot nut specs on Amazon.

Would anybody be able to provide what metric size it may be? Is it equivalent to M5?

A SAE thread and a Metric thread are not the same pitch or diameter. You get one or the other. Then there is fine and course, probably course only on the t slot nuts. 3/8-16 is a 3/8 bolt with a thread pitch of 16 threads per inch. Pretty much a standard off the shelf bolt at home Depot. If you want hex key, look at Lowes or home Depot in the cap screw specialty drawer under 3/8".

 

Thanks for the extra clarification! I found some on Grainger after searching it up. Needed some to mount my Co2 tank bracket to the bed rails... trying to find some theft deterrents.
