Hey everyone, I know some have trailers and was wondering what tires do you use or recommend? I have a 6x12 trailer for my quads and it’s time for tires. America’s tire is recommending this brand but what do you guys think?

    Not nearly enough room here!
I bought a pair of Goodyear Endurance tires for my boat trailer about 5 years ago. They've held up really well. Wonder of wonders, they're even US made!0826171135.jpg

    Function before sparkle.
Hartland is a house brand for America's / Discount tire and they always recommend them. If you Google search it, you will get a lot of polarizing opinions on the "made in China" tire and blowouts. The reality is they sell loads of those tires with many happy customers, some very unhappy. We have lots of similar tires up here in Canada.

My personal opinion is a Goodyear tire is pricey but they have earned their reputation with quality over decades. But assuming you check your air pressure regularly and for a utility trailer towing around 2500 lbs you likely won't notice a difference anywhere except you wallet. Take that opinion knowing I have never owned a Hartland tire personally.

I have found that there are two types of trailer tires, cheap imports that blowout and expensive domestics that last for years.

I have used Goodyear trailer tires for 20 plus years on multiple boat and utility trailers. I have had two blowouts. Once because I let my boat partner make the purchase and he went with under rated tires. I realized this while looking at the blown tire as changed it on the side of the Interstate. They still lasted a couple of years and a thousand miles or so. The second one just happened recently to a 6-7 year old tire. I replaced them with Goodyear Endurance. Pricey but I have had good success in the past so I'll stick with them.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Goodyear trailer tires. Just keep an eye on the PSI and they should last for years.

Check PSI and I learned before any long trip to jack up the wheel to make sure the bearings are good. Shake side to side to make sure not loose and spin to make sure it spins freely.

This! Many sizes are limited to 65mph. I see people with small travel trailers and utility trailers doing 70+ with a load all the time. Makes me wonder if the “cheap overseas” tires would last longer if more people drove the appropriate speed.

I have Goodyears on my boat trailer. No problems since I put them on. How do you get 250 more? I see a single axle trailer and 2 x $42 diff = $84 + tax. Also your trailer looks to be high at the hitch. It would run better if level.

    3 x 42= 126 +tax so about 150 more sorry 250 was a typo haha

for the Goodyear’s do you have the Endurance? Like the screen shot I posted?

also yea the trailer is a lot lower then my old trailer that had the flip kit on the axle. I need to turn around the ball so it sits level. Thank you tho for catching that.

Goodyear Endurance on my boat trailer, put them on in 2016 and love them!! The Goodyear Marathons were the best for years until they went to China, Endurance is US made.

I have the endurances also. They had the highest load rating and speed rating in a 15" that I could find.

Like the other guy said it's the speed that makes them blow out. Landscapers that dont ever go over 50mph can run china bombs on their trailers until the cords wear through.

Yep, I have the Endurance. I have some off brand passenger car tires on my utility trailer. It is fairly light and I only haul my Polaris 300 on it. The tires are probably pushing 10 years but I only put 500 miles per year on them. The key with trailer tires is keep them aired up to max. 5 years is normally the useful life. If you start seeing cracks it is probably time to replace.
