Hey guys, looking for a bed rack for my tent. Any ideas where I can find one? I have a 2006 Tundra Limited Double Cab.

Like a short ladder rack? Id go full ladder rack, so things fit underneath.

I vote the opposite; lower rack keeps your center of gravity low… better for stability off-road, better for gas mileage (less wind resistance above can).

OP, how do you plan you use your truck? You telling us that will get you answers that better suit your needs.

Well I'm going on a road trip from Vancouver, BC all the way to Tuktoyaktuk in Northwest Territories so I'll be doing lots of driving up FSR's (logging roads) to do some camping along the way. Just need a good stable rack and something high enough so I can have some storage underneath my tent.

If you don’t mind lame assembly instructions, and you’ll take on checking the fasteners regularly, KB Voodoo’s modular racks are cool because they can be moved from one truck to another. But the outside rails are thin; mine rusted then tore under the weight of mounted maxtrax. Oh, and they’re expensive. But… you know, oth several caveats, they’re worth a look, just so you have a point of reference for comparison.

I’m camping this week and one of my buddies has these adjustable Thule racks. Lower it for your tent/traveling and raise it for carrying other items. (Don’t know if you can tell from the photo, but it has one notch that’s lower than the current setting)63CC1F4B-BAEA-477E-AFF6-AE5AE9CCF751.jpg
