Hello all, its been a little while since I've been on the forums but here I am again. I bought my 2020 Crewmax SR5 last summer at the end of July and have already done 2-3 long road trips and some mild off-roading and have racked up about 15k mi. We are leaving this weekend for Key West FL from NC for a week and preparing the truck for the trip has me pondering a few topics. I am wanting to do a lift and larger tires but don't know exactly what I want/need. Also looking for some other mods that will fit my weekend usage for camping and road tripping. I am concerned about the rear suspension as I am loading for this trip as the rear is just sagging every piece of equipment I add. I carry ALOT of tools and gear with me literally everywhere I go and this truck is slap loaded down nearly all the time. I guess you could consider me a prepper so my Decked system is full of supplies and tools including full sized floor jack, full tool set and extra parts before I even add anything for trips.

For Example things I have on this trip include... Scuba Gear for wife and I (few heavy AL80 Cylinders), large YETI cooler, lots of fishing gear, grille, camping gear, tools, food, clothes ect. I have two pelican cases I carry full of misc. items on the prinsu rack as well.

    Current Mods:
    18" Method 305NV's - 285/65R18 Toyo AT3's E Range
Decked System - seems heavy but seriously worth it for all the crap I carry.
Leer 100XR Camper Shell w/ Prinsu Designs rack. - Best mods yet but has squatted the truck.

    Want to do:
Lift ~3"- NO SPACERS - Need extra carry capacity in rear? OME 2.5" lift springs? KING/Bilstein?
Tires - 295's or 35's? Want to keep wheels just upgrade to larger tire in A/T.
Lockers in rear - what is out there? Don't really know, all I know is the stock ALSD sucks
Front bumper - really want an ARB but I am open to some welded tube options.
Winch - What do I need that wont break the bank?
Snorkel- Do I really need it, and if not should I run breathers to stock air box?
Trans. Cooler - Been looking heavily at chasenicholas93 coolers he sells online. Seriously considering this because of the alarming temps I get sometimes on my scan-gauge even on the highway this summer.
Ham Radio - Looking for a place to mount a two-way radio, there is just nowhere I can decide to put a remote head or that can support a full size radio without being tacky or in the way.

This truck is not my daily driver so I couldn't care less about fuel mileage as I have a work vehicle I commute with. This truck is literally my weekend and rainy day truck and I enjoy doing mods and having what I need when on the road.

Before, after and Pics of the squat when on a trip should be attached. IMG_20200731_195341.jpg PXL_20210605_004324603.jpg PXL_20210423_231717678_2.jpg

OME HD kit, with the 613's. That ARB bumper is a heavy pig.
    295's
No snorkel, rear diff breather mod.
    Smittybuilt X2O Comp
    LSD.. Auburn Pro or ARB?

Air bags, ARK liners, misc bullshit added also
I would throw a set of air bags in the back, with the daystar cradles, will help with the sag and overall feel of the truck, that loaded all the time.

My guess is, and I am sure someone will mention it, that you are pushing max carrying capacity or are already over it.

Yeah, I am sure I am already over it, I don't really know where I stand with weight and haven't ran any napkin math to estimate. The truck still handles pretty well if I can keep the COG lower and off the rack and below bed height. Power isn't an issue though!

Not sure if this helps, but other than lose weight, don’t do anything more.

Wait till a need really arises. Then only mod as really needed.

    Only you will know.
