Hey y’all I’m putting 285/75r18s on my tundra with a 1.5 inch spacer and was wondering if anyone’s got a similar setup. The trucks got a 2 inch level in the front. Also has a high clearance front bumper, mainly wanting to know if a body mount chop will be required.
Ps. Still kinda new to forums, if this has been answered elsewhere I apologize!

Short answer is it depends and it’s different from truck to truck.

Alignment is key, it’s possible but chop isn’t a big deal anyway.

For a short time I was lifted 2” in front (5100s on the middle setting with a cb shim on each side) and was running +25 offset wheels and 35x12.50s tires and a high clearance front bumper. There was no rubbing on the cab mount. (I did rub the sway bar at full lock).

A 1.5” spacer with stock wheels is about a +22 offset. 285 tires are a little over an inch narrower that what I had so combined with stock wheels and spacers you might be ok.

Every truck is different and as @eick said, alignment is key.

285/75R18s on stock TRD Fox suspension here. That’s a 2” lift up front. Very rarely, I get a bit of rub on the fender liner at full lock. Off road, I rub on the mud flaps. The setup works great for me.

I think you will be okay. Like the other guys are saying might change from truck to truck. Alignment and tire brand comes to factor. I say give it a try and if it rubs then deal with it after it will only rub at full lock if it does only one way to find out lol

My experience my first setup stock TRDpro (2inch level). I had 295/70/18 with +25 wheels. Only rub on mud flaps a bit off-road
Second setup. I have 35x12.50 with +20 wheels. With 1 inch lift added to PRO suspension No rear mud flaps still didn’t rub on Cab mount…… but off-road I definitely did so decided to chop…. But for normal every day driving it didn’t rub even at full lock…

I am running the same, 285/75 on stock wheels. It will work better without wheel spacers honestly. There will be less rubbing.

It is a great sized tire and fits well after removing the front mudflap and trimming the skid plate wings off.

As stated about a good alignment is key to getting the tires more perpendicular to the road.
