Well, if it ever bugs me enough I'll keep this in mind.

We use bolts as agitation, bleach, and water to clean algae out of water reservoirs here at work. Nobody uses the Itty bitty bolts so they are great agitation makers for scrap scrapage inside them little containers.

All wired up. I T-tapped the wrong wire on one of my switch lights so the back-light for the light bar switch doesn't dim with the rest of them, but that's okay. I rarely dim them anyways.

I chose to use the farthest left switch spot because I can see that without moving my head while I'm driving. This picture is as close to my POV as I can get.

Here's how they look on the beater. My hood is a little f'ed so it doesn't line up perfectly with the grill.

Be mindful of the paint on the roof and hood. There are so many around here with fading paint jobs. Slowly redoing mine with rattle can.

When I get sick of yearly headlight buffing I'll keep these in mind as a few headlight kits would equal one set of these.

Cargo Adrift audible cues from rearward boot. Found spare DOT3 bottle rolling around in mostly empty trunk. Put it down with spare tire under the faux floor.

    No more cargo adrift.

The corolla virus claimed its first mammalian victim this morning. Opossum. Two cars behind me. One on my ass. One car in the oncoming lane. Nothing I could do as I caught him square, and tried to make it as quick as possible.

I watched the temp guage for any fluctuations while I planned to stop, and check all fluids. Coolant level is unchanged as is oil/trans juice.

Pics are graphic. Flesh, blood, hair. Viewer beware.

I'm on mobile, and can read this fine. If you can't read this on desktop, let me know. I'll edit in a screenshot from the tablet. Not the phone (where this is.)

Added RTR which is "rough tank remaining." Just an eyeball on the gas guage.

The excel chart looks fine. Your MPG are excellent for a non-hybrid.

Money is on boot is relaxing. I've been consciously accelerating slowly on about half this tank.

I figure 33 mpgs were me just going for it.

Time will tell as I watch my feets.

Here is my daily driver, bought it new in 2001. It is now at 204,00 miles and still gets 30MPG. It is an oil burner, so I check and fill on the 1st of every month. W hen it was about a year old a big ass Bronco ran a red light and hit the front end while my wife was driving. She was OK, but the car ended up with a bent frame. Got it fixed, probably should have sold it, but I'll keep driving it until it dies or requires something major. to repair.

Even at 800k+ my 06 was consistently 36mpg. So your doing good

We had an 02 that also burned oil and also only got around 30mpg even though a ton of other people reported getting much higher in the same gen Corolla. It was a very reliable little beater car for many years. I'm guessing it's still running if the guy I sold it too stayed on top of the oil changes.

98-02 handle best. But the engine burns like a mofo. 03-06 engine swap into a 98-04 makes a reliable peppy fun little car

Just enough weight to keep it flush with the dash, and it smells nice. Free.99 from mom with love.

Adding in the few pics I took of the virus down in penis-bola.

    finding 2 vehicles extra handiness?
Okay - you really need to keep an old bedsheet over your seat. Work is destroying it. Bedsheet goes in washer faster than trying to clean your seat. Eesh.

Realized I skipped a line from you earlier. Yes, two vehicles is sweet. Makes packing easier.

But yes, one day I'll get around to cleaning the interior. Just not on the schedule yet.

I'd think with that many people, it's easier & perhaps healthier if some but not all can go off in the other direction without stranding the remaining.

Digging it so far. I have to fine tune the position of the metal plates on my phone, but I think the mount is in a good location.
