I've used miles to get tickets before. The hassle definitely qualifies it for a purchase!

It's actually pretty easy with Delta for the most part. We don't travel super often but have used them exclusively for the last 5 years or so and don't have much bad to say.

Mine were with Delta, too. The problem was that I used dollars for two tickets and miles for two tickets. They said they grouped them all together as a family, but they ended up splitting us up all over the plane. This was when my kids were <12 yo. Then another time, similar situation, but they rescheduled my daughter to fly on a different flight! This one took HOURS on the phone to get it corrected. My time MORE than paid for the "free" flights I supposedly received with my miles!

I still get Skymiles, but most of my rewards travel is through my CapitalOne Venture card. I'm not tied into Delta (for those ski resorts that Delta does not service) and I NEVER have to spend time straightening out seating arrangements.

I've heard that can be an issue. There's the three of us so if we're booking separately we always put my daughter and wife together. Figure if there's an issue at least they're together and if I get separated it's no big deal

Usually the biggest issue we have is travelling with my Mom and her bionic hip getting through TSA.

I fly Delta weekly, head and shoulders above the others, but then again, I'm always flying solo. At least we can redeem online now, used to have to call every time.

The vast majority of our flights are with Delta - I agree that they are MUCH better than American or United. But I have flown Southwest a couple of times and I like them better. They just don't have the routes originating from down here that Delta does.

Just ordered some Faraday bags for the truck fobs. Hope they work well. Not gonna lie though, aluminum foil works pretty well, but them stares...

We're planning way ahead. We've already put a deposit down on a river cruise down the Rhine River with some friends. Making up for all those anniversaries where we didn't do much.

New lunch cooler. Cheaper than a Yeti, just as good, more features. Of course, I put a BRCC sticker on before I even left the store. :D

No purchase but a $ commitment.

I just put a deposit on a new 2021, or maybe it will be a 2022 Polaris Ranger 570 Premium.

This late in the year, Polaris will give no confirmation regarding shipment date, and/or if I receive a 2021 or a 2022.

The good news is that I'm not in any hurry and the price is locked in regardless at 2021 pricing.

The bad news is if it's a 2022, the color is unknown because Polaris hasn't released any 2022 information.

In any event as long as it isn't "slow white" in color, I'm good.
