Oil leak around nut by filter housing after oil change

    Went to put my skid plate back on after changing oil a couple days ago and noticed this. I didnt touch that during my oil change now theres a bit of oil around it. What could cause this or what can i do about it

    Are you sure you wiped off that bolt after you removed the filter housing? Assuming yes, so have you cleaned it again and the oil keeps returning?

    Agreed, @TundraTed has the right idea. Clean everything good then recheck again.
