I noticed the overhead consoles are upgraded over my 2003.

Would a 2004 - 2006 ebay one bolt right in.

Does the home link button actual work well with newer garage door openers.

    Thanks

Which console are you looking at? the one for the Tundras that came with a sunroof?

This? If so it comes on the limited dbl cabs...pretty sure it would require a lot of fab work.

The mounting holes are similar placement in the console, but not sure they line up with the holes in the AC. Don't imagine it would take much fab work. The electronics likely couldn't be hooked up without a lot of work though.

I'm afraid it would take more work than you think. I looked into that with my 2003 AC and bought one to try and fit. None of the holes matched up and the space would require cutting of more than just the headliner. I think the rear-view mirror was different too. The 2003 it's connected to the windshield and the newer console has the mirror attached.
