    Hey there,

Over the years, I have accumulated many paint chips on the hood of my truck. Some chips are shallow, but some are down to the metal. I did get a container of touch-up paint from the dealer, but I do not have the skills or tools to apply it properly. Can the chips be fixed individually or would I have to repaint the entire hood? What do you guys recommend?

    Thanks,

Touching up chips on mgm is not ideal. You’ll end up with a bunch of dark spots replacing your light spots. The upside is that they’re not bare metal anymore. IMO you see abut a 60% improvement in appearance if done correctly. Enough that if you walk by giving your hood a quick glance you won’t see them in the right light.
