10+ SS 6" Helmtail

Brand new, unopened until I took pictures this morning (10+ SS 6" Helmtail). Bought the exhaust and it has been sitting in my garage since November of last year. Decided I'm getting a bit older and didn't want something louder. Paid $600. I think this is a quality product, Keith's a stand up-guy in my business dealings. , just decided against putting it on the truck. Asking $500 OBO. I prefer to sell local (eastern Iowa, Cedar Rapids), but will ship if the buyer wants to pay it.

Standard 6″ System
This system is as aggressive as you can set up a Tundra without having that straight pipe raspy sound. It literally replaces the stock muffler with straight pipes which tie into a Y pipe and bolts straight up to the stock tailpipe, just like the budget system, but there are 2 little 6″ long mufflers in the straight pipes which will absorb nearly all of the raspiness associated with straight pipes. The 6″ system includes a brand new gasket for between the Y pipe and the stock tailpipe, a Helmholtz resonator (to kill that annoying drone associated with aftermarket exhaust) and clamps to make the Helmholtz an easy bolt on with no welding required. Our 6″ system is $849 in aluminized steel and $949in stainless steel. The sound is right in between our budget system and our 8″ system, with most people saying that it’s not too loud and raspy, nor is it too mild, it’s just right. Otherwise the sound is generally mids until you reach 65mph (this speed and sound comparison is based on stock 32″ tires, stock 4.30 tow gear option, and transmission in 6th speed with the torque converter fully locked up. Your truck will see these conditions 99.9% of the time when on a highway at that speed)

Haha no I love mine. But would prefer an 8”. I had the budget system before but it was a little much. I think 6 or 8 is the sweet spot.
