Need some help please. Took my 15 crewmax in for service. While it was there I had them give me a price to install the TRD Pro Fox shocks up front that I bought used a few months ago and just got them back from Fox after they rebuilt them.
The dealership called me and said those shocks won’t work with my truck because the “strut towers are wrong size”.
Can someone help guide me where to go from here. These shocks came off the 2020 TRD Pro Tundra so why wouldn’t they work?

As long as those really came off another tundra, there’s no reason they shouldn’t work. Try another shop to install the coil overs for you. It’s really not too bad of a job to do yourself if you’re up for it.

here are some instructions from the previous pro suspension from Toyota.

Thanks yes I’m planning on getting the work done somewhere else. Figured maybe the technician didn’t know what he was doing or maybe just didn’t want to perform the work. Thanks for the info

There’s no difference in how they bolt up.

Yes that’s what I thought so I’m thinking the Toyota Tech wasn’t familiar with them
