Indeed it is. Popped the cherry on the truck with pinstripes... You can say that it's been tried it and didn't like it.

I'm okay with being old man status with a non-pinstriped truck. Unless it's a wide dry flat creek bed and pitch black dark. Then I drive it like I stole it on stock wheels, tires and suspension.

 

I was seriously considering hammering down that west end path with all the brush to see what you'd do, lol.

 

I would not have followed. You forget, I lit up the night as if it were midday. I would have seen the brush and stopped short of them.

Regardless, I need to plan out which trails I want to drive on for this weekend trip.

Are there going to be more specifics on the volunteering part discussed at some point? I’m a mean burger and hotdog line cook and I can fix shit like no one’s business. But I don’t know if I’ll stick around if I’m the guy dumping out the shitter buckets…

I believe we’ll just be told the channels that will be used for a given trail or activity while we’re there and we can punch that in at that time. No need to program anything beforehand.

I joined the FB group. In addition to getting more volunteer info, photography skills and kid activities, I can work the grill.

@papasmurf I'm ready to book an RV rental for Friday - Sunday. Do you know when registration for RV camp sites will be opened up?

 

There's no registration. It's first come first serve and there's no need to worry, the area is HUGE. I think they generally like to have the RVs grouped together. Regardless, there's a great spot for lots of RVs.

we are limiting the number of RV's and campers. It is a first come first serve when we open reg up on the t2s website. That announcement will be coming soon.

 

Is there a size limit on RVs? I'm looking at 16-22 footers.

OP updated: TLDR - we need trail leaders!

 

Since I haven't been there before I was hesitant to volunteer as a trail leader, but count me in Bruce!!! I use Gaia to navigate trails and I'm good at spotting. I'll be there from Mon-Thur and leaving on Friday. BTW I'm not on FB.
