I was driving to a friend's house today in my 08 Tundra 5.7 dbl cab and out of no where my Master Window Control Unit started to smoke profusely. Sounds funny but I rolled up my windows all the way so that I wouldn't be able to breathe, NO, so in case the wires are fried my windows would be up in case they are stuck from the apparent electrical fire. Anyhow I pulled over and shut it off and made sure there wasn't any flame. I thought there may have been a recall for the DS window control Unit some years back. But like a dumb ass I never took it in for the recall. Has anyone experienced anything similar with they're Tundra? Any advice or info is much appreciated.
