New Caliraised light bar rattle

Just got a 32" light bar from @Caliraisedled and something inside is rattling. I called them and the guy I talked to didn't sound too concerned about it (not in a good way), and basically said as long as it turns on it's probably fine and they won't exchange it. Does anyone have any experience with these and whether this is something they all do or not?

I have one in the Tacoma and tundra. Mine do not rattle on either.

I mean, sounds like maybe a loose circuit board? Do the diodes move when you shake it looking into the front lens? Doesn’t sound like loose hardware.

CR has been getting a lot of complaints the past few years. Lots of threads on Tacoma world about it, rebranding Chinese light bars. Their metal work is fabricated in house though.

more and more people are opting for Baja designs or diode dynamics.

 

I emailed them the video and they are sending a replacement and a return label. Hopefully the new one is good to go.

I couldn't see the diodes moving, but that's what it sounds like to me.

if not, I would suggest going to diode dynamics. Their test lab and RD&T and proved and testing designed and tested optics are top notch.

Update: Replacement light bar rattles just as bad as the first one, plus it has a bunch of chips in the paint like someone dropped it.
