Its not entirely bad, the grille will have to grow on me, I feel like it needs a piece separating it from the bumper. The "Tundra" lettering on the front bumper/valance whatever you want to call it is cheesy. The hood plastics are straight from Gm hd trucks, and Toyota hasn't made plastics that don't fade yet after a few years so this are directly facing the sun. Side profile isn't bad looking, I wish they would run there fender flares all the way to the bottom of the fender. They do this on the 3rd gen taco also and it looks off to me and leaves a more vulnerable area open to chips when the flare could be protecting it. Curious what the payload specs will be with the coil rear end.

Those fender flares and front bumper inserts looks like packing material.

At least there isn't side badging.

I hope the new Sequoia has a sleeker front end. High hoodlines and giant grilles don't do it for me.

Another hopefully item is safely on this new Big Taco. Current Tundra has horrible crash test ratings. Basically any frontal crash >40 mph you will probably lose one if not both legs. Not to mention the high femur and pelvis fractured that would come with a frontal crash. Maybe I can deal with the early TTV6 issues.

Man that redneck mall crawler, flat brimmed hat wearing, light bar and orange running light crap on the front is enough to keep me away. WTF Toyota, did you actually pay someone for that dumb shit?

Current Taco is a pos and Toyota can’t build enough of those. This Taco Grande will sell extreme fast and probably over sticker for the first 18 months. ;)

    Flux capacitor!
I still want to see the interior, specs and other details before I can decide. I like that they made the a pillars and front pillar black to tie into the windows. I’m anxious to see the specs on the hybrid version!

Someone do a rendering with all the black finished parts in chrome. So we know what the 1794 will look like.

Fuck it, make a rendering with all of it but the windows in chrome. Just for laughs.

Exactly, keeping my current Un-Taco Tundra for a few more years. Let the frenzy of the Taco Grande simmer down. And work out the TTV6 issues.

Seen the bad ratings and yet there are a lot of stories people that walk away without a scratch and proudly buy another Tundra. I feel safe as fuk in mine, but hope the new ratings are better.

Seems like Toyota was slightly pissed at the leaked photos that were released yesterday, but only pissed enough to release just a better pic of what we already saw. Why not just release all the photos, specs, payload ratings etc. and get it over with?

Yeah, I hope they can do better. Crash test videos of current model looks like something from the early 90’s. Taco Grande will be better .

Because Toyota is a Japanese company and they stick to their plan even if it doesn’t survive first contact with reality.
