I am running Nitto trail grappler Mt 35/12.50/20 and after 15k miles I have dry rot cracks. And I already researched all my options and I am switching to 37/12.50/20 falken wildpeak at3w (Best in market). But you can also checkout kenda klever rt (cheapest and good tire)

I still don't know the difference between the trail grappler and the ridge grappler.

I always see these tires on shops like 4WheelOnline, and both have good reviews.

Ridge grappler are all terrain And trail grappler is Mt. But all Nitto tires have dry rot cracks issues after 15k miles.

I just went through this whole tire research thing. Currently on 285 70 17 BFG KO2's. Want bigger tires after long travel and fiberglass fenders. Looked at every AT tire out there, and ended up ordering another set of BFG's from discount because they wear great. Relatively quiet. One of the lighter tires out there in the size I want. Can be a challenge to balance but doable. This will be my third set.

Had Toyo's on my supercharged Taco. Really quiet, and great riding tires, but started to feather a little bit from the few times I was on dirt roads.

Also- I almost went with the Maxxis RAZR's. Heard great things about em. Relatively light, and good on pricing, but Discount got me BFG's for a little more. Hard to beat my 2 past experiences with BFG to save a couple hundred on a tire I dont have any experience with. Originally set on Coopers but Covid shortages, and a couple of bad feedback from friends changed my mind on them.

Good luck. What I found is every tire has negative reviews.

Nice looking truck. First one I've seen in green metallic. Had a pre-tacoma that color back in the day. Cool color.

what tire pressure you guys recommend for 295/60R20 Falkin Wilpeaks AT 3. E rated of course. Shop said 38 but they look low all the time. Ride is good though.

I know the advertised size, I was wondering if you ever put an actual tape measure on the tire after it was installed to see what it was.

Oh wow, that's pretty bad since Nitto tires are kind of expensive. Maybe it will still depends on your usage.

I will have 70k on mine when I replace.. They are tough tires and hold up real well in the rocks, cactus, and Mesquite. I also got 70k out of them on Tacoma. My gripe with them is they suck in the mud.

I’ll check em tomorrow for you I checked the height when I first put them on and it was a little over 34” tall I’ve got them on 9” wide wheels I’ll check the overall width and get back with you.

I would not go less then 45 on an e rated tire. I run 50 in my BFGs. If I go less then 45 TPMS light comes on in cold temps. VFGs are OEMs

I just replace 35/12.50/20 Nitto with 37/12.50/20 Falken wildpeak at3w. It’s little thin than Nitto. But pretty quiet and smooth :hattip:
