FYI - 15 week lead time on ARE Cap as of 4/20

Just heard from my ARE rep that ARE is running 15 weeks order to delivery MINIMUM due to fiberglass shortage.

 

I ordered an A.R.E topper on 5 Apr and they said that it wouldn't be here until late June or early July. At that point he said wait time would be about 12 weeks. There is a severe world wide shortage of epoxy resin.

 

I ordered mine March 13th and was supposed to receive mine next week. (First week of June) Just got told my order was pushed back to end of June which will be 15 weeks...sucks.

 

The current labor shortage that our country is facing is affecting all aspects of production. I currently have customers beating down my door for machining and I am having to turn new parts away.

 

Ordered mine first week of may with 8-10 weeks estimate. Today was told july 20 the earliest

 

I called the dealer on my ARE Z topper and they said that the projected ship date is July 1. As I said earlier, I ordered it on April 5th.
