Transmission fluid Mistake!!

Okay so here's the deal I, being the very wise 19 year old that I am have accidentally drained my transmission fluid from the pan (3-4) quarts is my guess, I need some emergency help asap in trying to find where I'm supposed to fill the fluid into. Any help is appreciated!!!

 

I believe there’s a fill port on the side of the tranny, but someone with a 2006 5-speed will have to chime in on this matter.

if you knew exactly how much you drained, you could measure this exact amount of new Toyota transmission fluid and refill.

 

I found the refill plug, does anyone what the size of the nut is by chance?

 

15/16 or 24mm.

Okay guys thank you for the help the situations is all taken care of now.

 

Here is my latest mistake also related to ATF fluid. Don't beat yourself up.

 

Sometimes I pride myself on the weird mistakes I manage to do.

 

I was once changing my power steering fluid and flushing my brakes. I accidentally put power steering fluid in my brake reservoir.

 

Ya, remote start the truck then lock the key in the house pretty regular.

 

That not only had to be very messy but very time consuming as well...Lol
