Just lifted my 2020 Tundra Pro with the Westcott spacer and Camburg Kenetic Arms. The shop I had it lifted also had it aligned but i don’t think they did that good of a job. I was just at the tire shop and tried to put 285/70r18 on my stick rims but they would not fit. Could this rash on the shocks from the sway bar be from needing a better alignment ? Or me trying on the tires. I just ordered 1inch spacers.

I'm no specialist, but was your sway bar tightened all the way? Because it looks like the end link is making contact with your strut...

in that 2nd pic it looks like the contact has punched a hole in the shock bottom or dented it?

considering 285/70-18 will fit a stock truck, yes I would say alignment or the lift install is not correct. What was rubbing, why would the tires not fit?

@blackdemon_tt I will double check the sway bar I get off work.

@frichco228 The second picture of the shock is just dented. I think it got dented when the tire shop tried to test fit the driver side tire and turned the wheel full lock to the right. You could see the entire drive side front suspension drop from the contact with the tire on the sway bar. Then I noticed the dent when I got home.

When they completed the install, the shop owner said the tire was rubbing on the sway bar because of the positive caster caused by Camburgs Kenetik control arm. Even the inside of the passenger side rim was scratched from making contact with the sway bar at full lock. I have 1.25" wheel spacers coming in Friday to help correct positive offset of the rim. Thanks for the help, Im going to find a better alignment guy where I live or drive the 100 miles to Camburgs for alignment . Has anyone have the same experience with the control arms?

Do you have a print out for your alignment after it was completed?

The Lift you have up front provides more lift than the truck is comfortable with and will most likely require adding additional items. So with your PRO having 2.00" already and then adding 1.5"-2.00" you're up into the 3.5"-4.00" range and geometry is compromised. The Camburgs are adding additional caster by design and would request lowering the caster when having it aligned again. We have alignment specs that work excellent with this setup and will attach, I would recommend taking them in with you.

With the amount of lift you have take notice of the CV axle angle, you shouldn't have more than 2 lobes touching on the inner of outer joint boot.
The front sway bar will bind just as you're seeing and will need to be spaced down.
The lower coilover stem will most likely bump the cutout on the lower control arm.
If you're noticing bump steer or steering wheel chatter its due to the outer tie rods fluctuating the toe as the suspension cycles and is out of range.

Hope this helps, If you need any other help feel free to call in anytime. David 801.635.4872
