Hey guys need some quick info. Getting ready to order the AlphaRex Pro for my 2nd Gen. I have had several discussions with AlphaRex who are very hard to get a hold of.
In my discussions i failed to ask a few important questions. I need your help guys.

Do they come with the harness for the DRL to plug into the fuse box ? What about the flashing issues some guys have, who have fixed it with a resistor.
I plan to replace the low beam halogen with either supernova sv4 h7 or gtr ultra 2 h7. I think the hyperflashing was from one the other or both the mixing of halogen and led.
So i should also change the turn signal bulb to led correct ? I was looking at the switchback bulb to correct the turn signal bulb.

just want to make sure i dont buy extra crap.

There is a dedicated 2nd Gen Alpharex thread. Did you look thru it?

You'll need a tap a fuse to run the Drl. One isn't supplied.

Hyper flash is everyone who tries to run n led in the turn signal, it's not due to Alpharex.

Mine came with the fuse tap. I needed nothing extra to install.

I feel ripped off. The 3 sets I've installed didn't come with them.

But again I have plenty laying around.

So i called AlphaRex again yesterday and placed my order, which by the way is online only currently with no sales staff. I had to force them to take my order number and send me the new generation. The first guy i spoke to said they were trying to get rid of all the old stock first. Makes sense since no one will want them unless they mark them down. He did say that the headlights will now come with the DRL Fuse tap included. He also said to not hyper flash buy an led that has the resistor installed that is around 7-10 amp.
I hope your set has the sequential turn some have been sent but i can say this after my conversations yesterday. ALPA has no sales guys currently due to c-19. I was talking and messaging them via txt. They turned their sales number into a cell phone. The guys you are contacting are the same guys packaging the products. The first guy i talked to was delivering a test vehicle as we were speaking. All in all they took care of my order and request to only have a new generation headlight. I basically told them if it comes without that feature it will get mailed directly back. Just had to be upfront with request, after all i am the one paying for the product.

The bad news is they are not communicating with their vendors about the new change. Makes sense since they are Lean crewing currently.

I’ve had several issues with alpharex on my 2014 tundra, the first set was bad, the DRL worked only half the time, exchanged them, now my turn signals don’t work, they worked for about 3 hours after install but that’s about it. I have halogen turn signals on it, also my highbeams where no where near the road, they did an outstanding job lighting the top of trees but nothing on the road. I was able to get a hold of alpharex and am waiting on their response.

They are trying to tell me they won’t be able to identify the newer model to send to me even though they did exactly that for you
