If you have done a black interior swap on your FGT post links, pictures, and threads!

I'm doing mine and have carpets, seats and some interior prep and paint.

I'm wondering though if there was a factory black dash and steering wheel from the DC that would fit a AC.
Also, confirm that there was a black version...

I’ve been attempting it. But the black SEM hasn’t held up in traffic areas and I’m on the verge of abandoning it. I DO HAVE a black headliner and carpet though

Yours was the one I was reading a while ago...
(just read it again and looks great!)

I have the black SEM interior paint also, That is exactly what I was worried about...
I haven't had great results with interior paints in the past but that was like 10 years ago, I'm hoping the paints have gotten better.
I'm going to add primer, paint prep/ adhesion promoter, and well as a flat clear as well.

I'm guessing that's a DC wheel, I'm going to the yard later this week to see what else I can try to make fit.
I really would like a telescoping extension option for the wheel...
really hoping a 3 gen 4runner would work...

    Thanks for the write up!

3rd gen runner is similar so maybe? But as for the wheel it’s from a 4th gen 4runner. Still haven’t found a airbag to match

I was thinking 3rd gen also, I know the column shifter adaptation is the biggest thing to overcome.

I'm thinking that also, there are a lot of interchangeable parts but the column shifter is what's the biggest hurdle.
Luckly the junk yards around me are usually filled with alot of different options to check out.
