I have a 2015 trd off road stock audio and head unit. I want to upgrade just the head unit. Would like Apple car play don’t want to break the bank trying to stay around 600 or less. What’s a good head unit and what all do I need along with the head unit? Thanks for any info.

Do you have the jbl system? If not is there an amp under your passenger seat?

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Just look for headunits meant to be a replacement/upgrade, they should all come with everything you need. If you're willing to go 600, you should be able to get a very nice touchscreen. If you want to stretch that budget a lil more you could get one of those fancy phoenix automotive tesla screens... Heck, looks like they've got an open box for your year for 6... [Open Box] 12.1" Android Navigation Radio for Toyota Tundra 2014 - 201 – Phoenix Android Radios (usstockphoenixautomotiveinc.com) Site says apple car play may not be supported or you might need the dongle thing, but I've also seen videos where they say apple carplay works on them w/o any extra dohickeys. Lots of options for that budget though.

I went with the Kenwood DMX1057xr and love it but it's above your price range.

    Check out Crutchfield's options.

    https://www.crutchfield.com/g_46235...-Receivers.html?tp=72357#&avf=Y&price=220-600

They'll pretty much give you all of the stuff needed to install in your truck. I picked non-JBL with center speaker. You can adjust to your exact specs when you go to their website. You can even pay for them to ship the radio to you with it connected to the wiring harness. That's what I'll be doing from now on.

    I recommend Kenwood or Alpine.

I bought a pioneer DMH-1500NEX since I can't find anything else in stock right now.

I used crutchfield to figure out all the things I need and then bought the head unit from best buy since they could get it to me in a week.
