I know I'm going to catch the devil for this but something just doesn't seem right. I bought a 2015 limited a little over a year. While I have been waiting for the tires to wear out I really have been doing my due diligence and reading thread after thread and trying to teach myself. Now my dilemma and lack of knowledge.. .
Thru custom wheel offset I have my cart full with:
    Falken tow/haul 2.25 shocks.
Fuel crush wheels and KO2 tires
My question is they gave me options on what would fit. 20x10s with -18 offset
and 20x9 with +20 offset..... Aren't these 2 offsets on complete opposite sides of the spectrum?
Says either could be fitted with 305/55 R20..... Anyone positive this will fit? I have OEM fender flares and want tires flush with them.
Hate to ask but there is almost too much info on this site to find a definitive answer.
Which offset would put me where I want to be?
I am also going to grab a set of 2inch coachbuilder shackles and a set of jba uca's. Thanks so much to whomever decides to answer.

This won’t fully answer your question: I have some +20 Fuels and they stick out about 1/4” to 3/8” on fenders with no flares.

A good way to find an answer is to search your tire setup, and compare suspensions with what you find. Message the person to see what they did to make them fit, or if they needed to cut anything.
You’re correct on the offset question, but you should be able to find someone with each setup.

Pretty sure you want the +20 offset wheels. The -18 push the wheels out quite a bit. I had +25 offset on my last Tundra, & will most likely going that route again, and I thought it put the wheels perfect. I’m not a fan of the minus off set look, but to each his own.

With flares go with the -18.. but all depends on what kinda look your going for

OEM is positive 60 I believe, I have positive 20 and they stick out about an inch to an inch and a half. The lower the number, the further they go

    Tires .. I currently run a 295/60r20 (34.5x11)

I have no rub with 3 inch Toytec coilovers for the front and coachbuilders in the back (2 inch with extended shocks)

Also 20x9 vs 20x10 don't make a damn .. it's the tire you mount it on

Any tire will perfectly accept these rims

That's what I figured. Just wondering why a positive offset on one and a negative on the other.

2 different options, different strokes for different folks. -18 will be way out. +20 will be about 40mm out past stock wheels.

Plug your numbers in here for a visual...but don't go -18 unless you have or want an ultra aggressive looking truck and the hardware to back it up. These are my +10 on 8.5" wheels with Fallen Wildpeaks. I would have preferred +25 or +35, but couldn't find wheels I liked in that offset.

Fronts stick out slightly more than rear.

Wheel width absolutely makes a difference as to where the outside of the wheel/tire will end up for a given offset.
A 20"x10" wheel will stick out 12.7mm more than a 20"x9" wheel with the same offset.

Wheel fitment is one of the most challenging things to figure out. Luckily the Tundra hasn't changed for a long, long time, and plenty of folks have figured out what works on these trucks. A 9" wide wheel with a +25 to +18 offset is the sweet spot for these trucks.
With the tire size the OP mentioned the 20x10 -18 wheels would be nearly two inches further out than the 20x9 +20 wheels.
The +20 wheels would already be pretty flush with a truck with fender flares. The -18 setup would put you really wide and much further outside the fender flares.

This is a 9" wide +25 offset wheel with 275/70 tires. A 10" wide wheel with a -18 offset and the same tires would be sticking another 55mm further outboard. Not ideal unless that's the look you're going for.

To give you another visual, I’m running 35x12.5r18 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 18x9 Method MR 306 rims with +18 offset on an Icon stage 6 3” lift. Had to do a body mount chop to get it to fit.

Unless you’re really wanting your tires to stick out, +18 to +25 is generally the sweet spot for the Tundra. Best thing to do is cruise the thread below and just look at other setups to find the one you like best.

I have +1 on mine. In hind sight I would have gone +18 to +20. The +1 stick out just a little too much. Here's mine with Fule 20x9 and 305-55-20 Toyo AT3'sTruck back.jpg Truck Side.jpg

^^^^This will be my next size tire. I also have the Falcon tow haul. Currently running 33's till warranty expired. Will do what it takes to fit 35's.

    You just wait
If you want flush you'll want the +20. Stock wheels with spidertrax wheel spacers equals out to roughly a +26 offset and pokes out of the fenders some with no flares.

I have (will be posting to sell soon) some fuel vapor 20 x10 rims -18 offset. With the 285/50r20 tires I had almost 3 inches of poke. So yeah, unless you want a really aggressive look you're better off with the neutral or slightly positive offset. But damn did they look good :D.
