OME lift, diff drop, & SPC upper control arms, 2005 Tacoma wheels, 1.25” wheels spacers, LT285/70/17. No trimming on truck.
I understand this is an old thread but it pops up in a google search. What I have found to work for me with the OME 2.5” leveling kit is 285/70/17 tires but I also used 2005 Tacoma wheels (17x7.5) that have a +30mm offset. I then added 1-1/4 wheel spaces to give me a -2mm offset. I have no rubbing issues at all without cutting on any part of the truck and still run factory mud guards. I would recommend 1-1/2” wheel spacers for off-roading to give a little more spacing between tire and frame at max turn. I have SPC upper control arms, 2.5” OME leveling kit w/ helper spring, diff drop and put on new rear leafs. I tried 17x9 w/ -12mm offset and had slight rubbing issues when wheels were cranked to max. To each his own and this is what I found without having to carve up my truck.
