Can I get away with 305/70R18 BF Goodrich KO2s WITHOUT changing to 0/25 offset wheels?

    Hi everyone,

I know this question gets asked a million times a day, but I am looking for some input.

I am wanting to upgrade to 35” tires from 33s. My current set up is four Bilstein 5100s with the fronts on top settings (approx. 2.3” of lift) and factory wheels with +50-60mm offset. I am currently running 33x12.5x18 M/Ts. I am having an ARB Summit bumper installed on the front which I know will pull my front end down some. (i am upgrading my coils later to heavy duty ones)

I know the upgraded bumper will give me some leeway, but I know that ideally I need upgrade my wheels to wheels with offset from 0 to +25 to prevent rub on my cab/body mount, especially if i wanting to run true 35s. I am leaning more towards +25 because I think the 0 offset wheels will stick out further than my liking.

I am fine with either 17 or 18” wheels but would like to run 17s.

My question is do you think I can get away with running a 305/70R18 BF Goodrich KO2s WITHOUT changing to 0/25 offset wheels AND run them WITHOUT rubbing? They have a diameter of 34.8" and a width of 12.2"

    All input is appreciated! TIA!

Do you think new wheels with proper offset, I could avoid a bmc?

    Also considering Toyo AT3 (295/70/R18s)
34.3” and 11.8” wide, but I don’t want to lose that much width.

The wider wheels put the tire closer to the body mount vs oe wheels
