On the bright side, the tires actually look decent, it appears to have a driver's side view mirror and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on fresh wiper blades.

Points against for what appears to be a missing passenger side view but we lived just fine w/out them and seat belts for decades.

Had a few bedroom outlets decide to stop working yesterday. A one of them is loose pronged due to age. Whats your thoughts? Bad outlet and its making the other two inline not work, as well?

 

Yup. As they age the connection behind can loosen up or even burn up, causing others to loose power. It can be in the 1st dead plug, or the one directly upstream.

If you want to change it and don't wanna work it hot flip it off. If your panel label is sketchy, plug a radio into that room and start flipping one by one.

I think you are correct on the outlet being bad and causing the others to not work. I’ll open the boxes and sniff with the Amp Probe to see where the Hot Stops. No breaker has popped so I’ll go in live. Zzzztttt!!!!

I beleive Erik had a poll in mind. Well have to wait and see what the next poll brings us, then we can have the seperate committees vote on the sub polls.

Well my boss gave me the day off so I figured I’ll go ahead and post the Newer New Poll. Its MC (multiple choice) and you can vote on as many as you like! All in Good Humour, of course.

Since FGVADD Sunday Meltdown he:

1) went down into his new basement clutching his 10mm Sockets and realized the are different than SAE Sockets.

2) has been furiously PM’ing emptylord for repair info driving him to the edge of Xanax.

3) has been studying Sun Tzu The Art of War and Jabbing a mini hand model Voo Doo Doll whenever he gets a chance. (This Hand Ache I have is coming back).

4) Meh. Shined it all and put his truck up For Sale at the corner Stop n’ Gas to prevent divorce.

5) All the above.

This wasnt a thread determining whether fancy hands should make a poll, this is what happens when forum decorum is difficult and someone asks for help. I cant make a poll. I tried. A toyota owner wouldnt be my first choice opinion, but hey, whats the worst that can happen? Well, a poll could happen.

No, when fgv asked for help, it was implied i was promised a relevant poll. And the polls and committees were fun, but no such poll had materialized and i’m left disappointed and hollow.

 

I need a proper poll to fill this void.

That was less than helpful. Although, after a little more research my trip to road atlanta is looking more promising.
