Bend above rear wheel fender

Anyone randomly got a bend above their rear wheel fender? I read there is a pinch weld there and your bed will bend if you have wright back there. I have a slight bend on the driver side.

 

Wow hard to believe just weight in the box could cause something like that. I don't have any useful suggestions but if the bend just randomly appeared I think I'd bring it to the dealer and see if any warranty coverage is available.

It's hardly noticable. I only noticed when the sun hit it just right. I thought I might have done it when I could have been leaning over the wheel to grab something but I also recently had 1500 pounds in my bed as well.

 

That sucks! Thanks for the warning, will build a floor in mine to put the weight where adequate support is because I transport heavy liquids. Guess I have been lucky so far, had a good 1700 in there.

 

Man I am sorry but is it just me cause I cannot see it??
