So Hey Hey ! How y'all been ? So who has an opinion lolol the pic of my strut says it all. These things are spent. Look like non descript cheap-o assemblies, but I have not the clue. I have 109k on the truck and wondering if I should use these existing springs again or get new ones with the new strut units. The thing only see's pavement so just looking for a smooth ride.20210601_140238.jpg

17 years old and over 100k miles, I would lay them to rest and install new components. They have worked hard and deserve the time off.

Ok I truly hate this research bullshit. Hand me the parts point me in the direction and let me loose lol. Being poor and having lots of choices and not really believing wat ya read tends to aggravate and reduce me to a crawl.

The more I scan around it makes me feel I need to come at this from a new perspective. So how does this approach sound......

Keep the existing springs. Buy quality struts, new bearing mount plates, other hardware, and install with those springs. Take a drive see how good this idea was lol. Hate doing shit twice but if need be, resort to new quality springs later.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
