WT7600NEX and call it a day.

8600NEX if you want a slightly bigger screen.

    Welcome to the forum..

I had a single Din pioneer with a cd tray under it in my 2005.
1 of 3 different HUs I had over the 10 years of owning the truck.
Had my XM tuner tucked underneath..

I think a double would fit, maybe not one of the huge ones, but an average double din unit.
Crutchfield reads a double will fit in a 2005, but they don't any stock, Pioneer or Kenwood.

I'd also consider a Kenwood HU, I've had both.
Each has its pros and cons, but the Pioneer screen lag was a con for me.
The Kenwood screen was more responsive and quicker.

Since you want Android connectivity, you should be able to run Waze and Google maps off the on the HU screen.
If you can swing it, wireless connectivity would be the way to go.

I'm running a Kenwood Excelon DMX906S in my 2014 Tundra I've pretty happy with.
Of course my 2014 already has a BU camera.

I think your biggest challenge, once you figure out what you want, is finding one in stock..

    Good luck..
