Apparently the Titan engine "knock" issue (2016+) is continuing, unabated.

So, it looks like the Tundra is now considered fair game. Kind of along the lines of, "if my truck sucks, your truck sucks worse".

    https://www.titantalk.com/threads/the-engine-knock-thread.422289/page-111 #2207

Outside of the gimpy 7 speed transmission, rpm bounce between gear shifts, vibration that couldn't be cured, and the engine knock, my 2017 Titan was a terrific truck.

No idea but I'm pretty sure one way to do the cam seal repair is to take the cab off. So it's not just a Nissan thing.

The only time I have knocking on the passenger side is when my grandson wants me to unlock the door

If we can weave some Ford F150 "sh!t" into this we'll have a hot, steamy love triangle. :bored:

The first video clip of the knocking really sounded like a diesel.

Never had a Nissan. Don't know squat about Nissan trucks so I am not going to pretend that I do. Don't wanna know. There is always some person that will manufacture some outlandish claim (replacing 5.7s for a knock in the other forum) about what someone else has to make themselves feel above other people in every forum. I just know that I am selling my old Ford F250 and for now I love my Tundra.
