There is a short somewhere which can happen in any electric circuit check the fuses make sure they are seated and have no corrosion and try holding the switch in the up position and turn on truck or roll it up then unplug switch turn truck back on if it doesn’t roll down could be a stuck switch. You can take switch out and check for continuity or apart of troubleshooting could buy one and see if it works

My Truck is a Toyota tundra limited 2010 the rear windshield is automatic, it works up and down, if i start the truck the rear windshield goes halfway down by itself. could it be a weak motor issue? cus i used it alot and the motor got hot and stopped, then if its cold it works again.

There is a short somewhere you can pay to get it fixed or try the switch or motor or relay/fuse or rarely a wire harness. In an electrical system if there is a loose connection or corroded connection it can heat up when the voltage passes thru it causing corrosion from arcing and in cold weather it just is making a better connection probably because of that electrical fact. I’d try the switch first for sure probably doesn’t cost a lot

Might be part of your ecm program, you can download modified version if Toyota Clearstream for free and change your preferences . Full program is like $2k But at least the free one lets you make changes like window commands headlight delay door locks etc...
