Looking at the billies 6112’s. Anyone use them on the lowest setting.(.75). Not looking to lift the truck just want a better ride quality, handling. More control feel then the stock 4600 garbage. I see alit of posts about 2.5 , 1.9 setting. Not much about the.75/1.3 setting. I’ve had all sorts of lifted trucks and the stock tundra drives worse then my other lifted vehicles. I really just want the benefits of the 6112 shock without changing the stance. Low center
Of gravity. 2019 tundra limited TRD...90% road driving, a lot of highway

I just ordered mine yesterday on the 1.3 setting. From what I hear, you tend to get a little more than advertised, at least until it settles out. I did want to level out a bit, this should do it. If they perform like the 5100s I put on my Tacoma, the suspension will feel a bit stiffer/more responsive. I feel the stock suspension is a bit mushy.

    You just wait
I've actually wondered myself if you can feel the difference in ride quality from the different lift settings. It would be interesting to see if a tundra on the lowest setting road more plush than a tundra with it on the highest setting.

I’m on the 1.3 setting with 275/70r18 tires. 45120F29-4C3F-424B-90B7-02B26D10E35B.jpg After +\- 200 miles it seems to have mostly leveled the truck. I’ll probably add a small shackle lift in the back to bring back some rake.

    Thanks!

Rear has 5160 shocks but that should not influence the height. The leafs may be a little flat, though. 120k on the odometer and it came with an aftermarket trailer brake so I assume it was used to tow fairly often.

I used the 1.3 setting on mine. After the ranchhand grill guard I got about 3/4 of an inch of lift.

I went with 5100’s on the lowest setting, my ride improved noticeably. Less diving/float, more precise for me, vs the 4600 style TRD Off-road factory shocks. I’d be pretty confident the 6112’s are more of a good thing, if you want a firmer but not harsh ride.

Did you add a drivers side shim with that set up? If not.... Now that the lift has been on do you notice any drivers side sag up front?

250,000 miles and always adding more :)

Sorry to bring back such an old thread but I'm really curious on if you went with the .75 setting. I too feel the same way about lifting the front and I want to also maintain the stock ride height while bettering the ride quality.
